As part of our mission, we align our efforts with the United Nations' 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) which provides a shared blueprint for peace, prosperity, and environmental stewardship
In the grand scheme of things, environmental responsibility requires a deeper and broader scope of work, instead of a tool for monetary gain or reason for lack of progress.
Through initiatives from within our production site to the communities, together with partners and customers, Gemtex enable safer, more sustainable and enviromental friendly productions in the process of yarn making.
For instance, we have found ways to upcycle instead of recycle. Bebing creative while keeping an environmentally conscious approach, our defective products have been utilized for isolation in green houses to grow vegetation in unfavourable locations.
We believe setting long-term goals that comply with SDGs and major authorities can help solve challenges we face in the market and contribute to the communities.
